Voiceless Consonants

Voiceless consonants are consonants that do not cause a vibration of the vocal cords. If you place your hand on your throat, you will not feel any movement.

The voiceless consonants in English are:
/k/, /ʧ/, /s/, /f/, /h/, /p/, /∫/, /t/, & /θ/
